The short version
FormulaSmith runs no analytics, no advertising trackers and no third-party scripts. Every calculator and converter on this site runs entirely in your browser — the numbers, text or files you enter are never uploaded and never leave your device. We only process personal data when you actively send it to us (feedback or the email form).
Hosting and server logs
This site is served by Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) from its global edge network. When you access the site, Cloudflare processes technical connection data (IP address, requested URL, user agent, timestamps) to deliver the pages and to protect the service against attacks (legitimate interest, Art. 6 (1) f GDPR). Cloudflare participates in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and processes this data on our behalf. We do not receive or store these logs ourselves.
Cookies and local storage
This site sets no cookies of its own. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies when protecting the site against automated abuse. Your dark/light theme preference and small UI states are kept in your browser’s local storage only; they are never transmitted to us and you can clear them at any time via your browser settings.
Feedback form
If you send feedback, the message text (and a category you choose) is forwarded to a messaging webhook so we can read it. Please do not include personal data in feedback messages; anything you include is processed to handle your request (Art. 6 (1) f GDPR) and deleted once handled.
Email subscription
If you subscribe with your email address, it is passed to our newsletter provider to send a double-opt-in confirmation; no email is stored unless you confirm. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in each email (Art. 6 (1) a GDPR, consent).
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Contact contact@formulasmith.com for any request.
