Are these really free?

Yes. Every template downloads immediately, with no account, no email address and no trial. They are free for personal and commercial use alike.

Do the formulas actually work?

Yes — the files contain live formulas, not pictures of them. Change a quantity and the totals recalculate the way they would in any workbook you built yourself.

Will they open in Google Sheets?

Yes. Each file is a standard .xlsx, so Excel, Google Sheets, LibreOffice Calc and Numbers all open it. Upload it to Drive and open it with Sheets.

Can I change them?

Nothing is locked or password-protected. Add columns, rename categories, delete the sample rows — the "How to use" tab in each file says which cells are formulas so you know what you are overwriting.
